There is one entrance with a sliding door to the building of the Jastrzębie-Zdrój City Hall. There is an information terminal in the entrance hall. It is a terminal with colour underprint, with easily palpable convex elements and a clear, contrasting graphic layout supplemented with black-printed texts and Braille pins. Thanks to it, blind or visually impaired people, as well as the elderly and those with hearing problems, will obtain information about the space in which they are located. The terminal is equipped with a convex plan of the office building, a sound system that reads messages, a keyboard and signs in Braille, raised and enlarged.
Deaf and mute people can obtain all the necessary information at the City Hall, as well as report a matter, using an SMS text message. In order to provide an alternative way of communication with people unable to provide voice information, the City Hall has launched a special telephone line number 516 844 320. SMS messages are received 24 hours a day by employees of the Municipal Police, who answer a given question or take appropriate action in response to a received notification . In front of the stairs in the office building there are so-called fields of attention - yellow stripes informing the visually impaired that there is a step. There are overlays with information in Braille on the handrails. There are warning tapes on the glazed surfaces (all glass doors).
There are two elevators in the building that allow wheelchair users to move between floors. The buttons are backlit, making it easier for people with visual impairments to use them. Red back light is used for the standby mode of a button, and when pressed, the colour changes to green. The alarm buttons are permanently backlit in yellow. In addition, the instruction buttons with a numerical designation have information in Braille. There are 2 disabled parking spaces in the parking lot of the City Hall office.
